News on PV, storage and e-mobility incentives by country — for installers and EPC companies and for their end customers. Dates and amounts as published; check the source before quoting.
State Secretary Eerenberg told Parliament on 5 November 2026 that a method developed with market parties can prevent double energy tax on home batteries from 1 January 2027 without changing the law; TNO reviews the risks in November and publication is planned for early December.
Article 28 of the PLF 2027 would make the reduced VAT on PV panels conditional on their contribution to supply-chain resilience under the Net-Zero Industry Act; amendments extending 5.5 % to home batteries were rejected on 2 November 2026.
SupportVAT 5.5 % kept only for panels meeting NZIA resilience criteria (to be set by arrêté); batteries stay at 20 %
The 5.5 % rate still applies in November 2026, but since 1 March 2026 the installer must hold a recognised qualification, a replacement arrêté (hail class RG5, 130 µm wafers) is still unpublished and the 2027 budget bill would tie the rate to EU 'resilience' criteria; batteries stay at 20 %.
SupportVAT 5.5 % instead of 20 % on residential PV up to 9 kWc (modules ≤ 530 kg CO2/kWc, < 14 mg silver/W, lead and cadmium limits, energy-management system required)
Businesses installing private EV chargers or on-site batteries can still apply for SPRILA until 18 December 2026, 12:00. Of the €122.5 million budget, about €8.8 million (chargers), €7.5 million (batteries) and €7.9 million (public transport) remained on 2 November 2026.
SupportAC 11 kW charger €400 (large company) / €800 (SME) up to €44,000 / €88,000 for DC ≥550 kW; batteries €60 / €85 per kWh up to 1,000 kWh; max 20% / 40% of eligible costs; minimum €2,500 per location
From 2 November 2026 to 30 April 2027 industrial companies covered by the EU ETS can apply for Modernisation Fund loans of up to 100% of the cost of on-site RES generation with integrated storage; at least 80% of the electricity must be self-consumed and part of the loan can be forgiven.
SupportLoan up to 100% of eligible costs with productivity bonus and partial forgiveness (conditions in programme documentation); call budget PLN 348.5 m
Transizione 5.0 is closed: funds ran out on 6 November 2025 and the 2026 successor is the 'iperammortamento'. On 31 October 2026 minister Urso signed the decree distributing about €197.7 m to firms that had GSE technical approval but no funding; no new applications are possible.
SupportCredit closed since 6 November 2025 (budget exhausted); about €197.7 m (57.7 m in 2026, 80 m in 2027, 60 m in 2028) to be paid to excluded firms, mostly for self-consumption plants
The 2027 budget bill approved by the Council of Ministers on 28 October 2026 keeps the bonus casa at 50 %/36 % for 2027 instead of the scheduled fall to 36 %/30 %; PV and batteries remain eligible as renovation works, but Parliament must pass the law by 31 December 2026.
Support50 % deduction (main home) / 36 % (other homes), ceiling €96,000 per unit over 10 years — proposed unchanged for 2027 in the budget bill
Union and SPD are still negotiating the EEG 2027 compromise; the Bundestag vote is now expected in the second week of November 2026, followed by the Bundesrat and EU state-aid approval before 1 January 2027. Systems commissioned by 31 December 2026 keep today's tariff for 20 years.
Cabinet Resolution No. 1214 of 30 September 2026 relaunched one-off energy-independence aid for sole proprietors and small companies with 1–10 employees: UAH 15,000, 20,000 or 30,000 depending on headcount; the second application window runs 2–27 November 2026 in Diia and the money must be spent on energy equipment within 90 days.
The new residential call (BOJA 25 September 2026) opened on 22 October 2026 and was suspended one week later for the household and company budget lines (€11.0 m) after applications exhausted the credit; the Agency may reopen if funds are redistributed.
Support€20.77 m FEDER; PV-plus-battery line 55 % (individuals, micro and small firms) up to 65 % with bonuses, minimum grant €6,000 — household and company budget lines suspended on 29 October 2026

SupportFree depreciation (libertad de amortización) of up to €500,000 of investment in corporate tax for 2026; collective self-consumption radius 5 km; nearby generation up to 5 MW
The legal basis is now Real Decreto-ley 7/2026 (20 March 2026, ratified 26 March): a 10 %/20 % IRPF deduction for self-consumption systems paid for and completed in 2026 (base €5,000), plus the extension of the 15 % charging-point deduction and the energy-efficiency deductions to 31 December 2026.
SupportIRPF deduction 10 % (own property) or 20 % (homes in residential buildings, collective self-consumption), base up to €5,000/year, batteries included; 15 % for home charging points; municipal IBI/ICIO rebates unchanged
Business Finland's continuous energy-aid call funds company investments in energy efficiency and in new-technology renewables and storage (typically 15–30%, up to 40% for SMEs), but conventional solar PV systems are not eligible. Projects must not start before the funding decision.
SupportRenewable-energy investments: typically 15–30% (max 30% large companies, 40% SMEs, new technology only); eligible costs €30,000–€5 million; energy-efficiency investments 15–25%; audits 40–50%
Mój Prąd 6.0 closed on 12 September 2025 and NFOŚiGW ruled out a Mój Prąd 7.0 in March 2026; the transitional PME part 1 call (KPO, PLN 105 million) is also closed and new investments are now supported only through the storage-only PME2 programme.
Oblasts and cities fund from local budgets a partial refund of SES equipment costs for private homes (aim: energy independence during outages). Conditions, amounts and availability depend on the region; in Kyiv the application is filed via the city portal.
The GSE fund financed PV systems for low-income households (ISEE < €15,000, or €30,000 with ≥4 children) installed by registered contractors in 2024–2025. Sources differ on the 2026 status — check with GSE.
From 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027 the Danish elafgift is 0.8 øre/kWh excl. VAT (about 1 øre incl. VAT) instead of roughly 90 øre/kWh. Self-consumed solar power saves far less tax in these two years; the ordinary rate is scheduled to return in 2028.
SupportElafgift 0.8 øre/kWh excl. VAT (about 1 øre incl. VAT) from 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2027, versus about 90 øre/kWh incl. VAT in 2025; the ordinary rate (72.7 øre/kWh in 2026 prices per the amending act) is due to return from 2028
There is no national panel subsidy (ISDE does not cover them); supply and installation of panels on or next to a home carry 0% VAT. A home battery — 21% VAT even when installed with panels; the government confirmed in early 2026 that no national battery subsidy is coming for now.
Support0% VAT on panels (instead of 21%); battery 21% VAT
Since 2023 the supply and installation of PV systems (incl. storage) for households up to 30 kWp carry 0% VAT; income from systems up to 30 kWp is exempt from income tax (§ 3 No. 72 EStG).
Support0% VAT instead of 19% — roughly €2,900–3,500 saved on a 15 kWp system with storage
Law No. 4698-IX (bill 14097, signed 24 December 2025) prolongs for 2026–2028 the VAT exemption on importing equipment for solar and wind power plants, energy storage and gas-piston/gas-turbine generation into Ukraine; whether customs duty is also waived is not confirmed.
Support0% import VAT instead of the standard 20% on eligible energy equipment in 2026–2028; customs-duty status to be confirmed
